Connect an integration

Connect a service to bring its data into AXO or send AXO events to it. Choose your service in the connector setup guides for exact fields, permissions, verification, and recovery steps.

Before you start

Confirm the AXO site and the external account, property, or destination you want to connect. Have access to that service and the permissions listed in the connector's setup form. An owner or admin may need to make the change.

Connect a service

  1. Open Integrations. Find the service in the connector catalog.
  2. Open its setup and enter the requested account identifiers and credentials. Use the field hints to distinguish values such as a GA4 property ID from a measurement ID.
  3. Click Connect. Complete the external authorization flow if one opens. Some connectors have a separate setup screen linked through Configure.
  4. Find the saved connector under Connected. Open Health to inspect its status, recent successes, and errors.
  5. For an event destination, configure the relevant events or trigger. For a data source, verify the expected imported or reported data on its destination screen.

Check that it does the intended job

A saved connection confirms configuration was stored. Verify the actual operation: data appears in AXO for an inbound connector, or the receiving service records the expected event for an outbound connector.

Send test event can contact the connected service. Check its destination and downstream effects before using it. A connection test and a complete customer workflow test answer different questions.

If delivery fails, open the Health error, then use Configure to check permissions, credentials, and account identifiers. Use Pause to stop a connector while resolving an issue; Resume restores it.

Next: review consent and data collection settings.
